God of our Journey,
You guide our steps along the way.
Open our hearts
that we may greet those we meet
with welcome and kind hospitality.
Remind us often to move
lightly and simply through the day,
with every moment becoming
part of our gratefulness.
May we love this day and all that it brings:
The air we breathe; the food we eat;
the water we drink;
Every sight, smell, taste;
And even the dust and stones
beneath our feet.
Bless us with freshness, energy,
Enthusiasm, and good humour
that we may be a blessing
to our fellow pilgrims.
Bless us with courage in each step.
When we meet with obstacles along our path,
remind us that you are with us.
Lead us in your ways of timelessness,
Through calmness of spirit,
And paths of peace.
Holy One among us, all around us, and within us,
surround us with love and peace.
Protect our families and keep them
healthy and safe while we’re parted from each other.
